David Bowie died yesterday. I can't seem to get Space Oddity out of my head, "Ground control to Major Tom... commencing countdown engines on..."
When I was still asleep I used to think that David Bowie was an interesting, eclectic artist. I can see that he was heavily interested in the occult and was a member of The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society of which the founder of the Church of Satan, Anton LaVey, was also a member. The music video for David Bowie's Black Star is a Black Magick ritual. The unlucky recipients of such dark forces? The people who are not protected by the Blood of Christ, on whom such spells have no power.
